Tentative agenda for Learning Unit 9

By now you all noticed that social networks software are good for social networking but they lack the capability of project management that requires some amount of coordination within the group members. So we will try Google calender, Myoffice on facebook suggested by Chris and ZOHO also have some tools to coordinate the group activity.

Also, we need some tools for real time collaboration and I am suggesting Yugma from http://yugma.com/

Image acquisition, editing and sharing through album along with project management tools will be the main topic for next learning unit 9.

Since you did not provide any web address for your Google web page I have no way of going to it to see your "My Adjusted Image".

Just wanted to let you all in on a newly advertisted collaborative program called Go to Meeting. Below is the website for it. During the registration process enter the promo code EASY. This is a similar program to Yugma and can be used in the same way. I would be interesting to compare the two.

We will use flashmeeting and Wiziq as two other test audio/video conferencing programs as mentined in Unit 12. If you want to try gotomeeting try it with your group and you can report your experiences here.

Dr. Alam,

I noticed that you have not given me my 4 points for the svg inkscape image that I had created. If you remember, it had trouble loading and I ended up sending you some files. I has no problem loading on freewebs now for some reason. I would appreciate it if you would update the grades to reflect this change soon.
