So I looked over the directions on the assignment. I didnt see any directions that stated that we had to post links to our LINKEDIN, POWNCE or friendfeed pages. You only said that we needed to sign up for the sites and then connect to each other on the sites. On all six sites, I added you / your email address as a friend or contact. In doing so, you should be able to see all of my profiles through the sites themselves.The same for del.icio.us, Stumble and digg. I added you as a viewer, you should have been able to view my bookmarks.


Unless I missed something in the directions, I was not aware that we needed to have those links on our blogs.I thought you would access them through the connections made on the sites. If it was implied that we were suppose to have those links, than I guess I need more specific directions.

Also, what is our grade "Project 2" from?

You completed your assignment. You know where it is or what is its web address?

Now how will I know where to access your assignment? I may be able to find it by going around web but imagine there are 9x16=144 web sites altogether from all of you. Therefore, I do need a URL to access your index file that points to all your resources. In your case your blog web address is the pointer and the blog content serves as a table of content to the rest of your other 8 web sites. that is

That does not include your facebook and ning profiles and other web sites you have created.

These are the number of web sites we are dealing with and they are going to grow so it is extremely important that you guys keep things straight. You need to think how you will arrange your distributed information resources so that they are easily accessible to any visitor and it is not that hard to do if you do little organizing and letting other know where your things are.

Now to solve your problem simply add all the missing urls I am asking for on your blog page and post it here that you made the necessary change.s You will get regraded. This offer stands for anybody in the class as long as that is the only problem. It will basically add 6x.75=4.5 extra points to the grade.

I have done the same for others in the class and I do not see any reason why the remaining ones can not be regraded if they make the required changes.

Project#2 grade includes the grades from Learning units 5,6, 7 and 8. You add all the grades from these units and then scale it to a grade out of 30.

This is the calender events that shows that you have about seven days to check your urls within the document I sent that is a collection of some of your web addresses. You should have received an e-mail with document web address in it. That is the document you need to work in case you need to make any correction. If it is ok then just say it is ok here and we are good.

I loaded the calender and clicked on the event. It took me to another URL where I could submit my attendance. Also, there was a second link to the student web pages (blog, ning, etc.) and it said something about changing the document. What would you like us to do to that document or calender. The objective here is that there is a google doc whose url is in your e-mail and it also on the calender and you need to check that the url for your web pages is correct. So you have the permission to modify the document if you need to.

The calender event was created to give the time frame of one week to do it. That is all. You do not need to do anything with the calender just use the document url.

All I really want is a document that contains correct web addresses of few of your web sites. I started the document and expecting you guys to verify it that it is correct. Because that is what I will use as my starting point in the future. If the url is bad then I will simply will not be able to get to your resource.

I have updated my weblog to reflect all of my hyperlinks to digg, stumbleupon, delicious, linkedin, friendfeed, and pownce. I didn't know that we needed to list all of these addresses, and I just checked the comments on my blog. Sorry for the confusion. I can also list them here if you would like, but I thought I would just keep all of them under my Learning of Unit 8 post on my blog to make everything accessible from one spot. I think this should take care of the stuff I was missing.

I already regraded your report you can check your new grade.

The previous post was to just make a point. Online communication is terse and direct and context less. Therefore it becomes necessary that people try to provide as much contextual information as possible without going overboard.

Like adding a url to a message is really easy job but it makes the action on the message very easy by the recipient and he/she will be more inclined to act on it immediately.
