2.) 1st Blog Post on WordPress Blog - http://c5allen.wordpress.com/

In today's ever changing world, Web Logs or "Blogs" serve a very integral role in information dissemination. Blogs can have many purposes, from informing your personal network as to what you are currently doing, all the way to informing subscribers to the latest world news developments, celebrity sleaze, local weather, etc. via RSS feed. Some type of information exchange in one form or another, takes place on a blog. One can definitely leverage their personal time by "blogging"; rather than keeping in touch with multiple people at multiple times. One can inform everyone they choose by updating their blog daily, weekly, or even monthly. Especially with all of the available blog options such as text message updates and e-mail alerts, one has no excuse for keeping up with their personal network or current events. Even though I am new to the world of "blogging" I find it very useful and will try to incorporate it as a tool to keep up with my social network.

3.) Twitter Information: Username is C_allen

Twitter is a pretty neat tool to play around with. It really reminds me of a very basic form of instant messaging without constantly going back-and-fourth with someone. I like that you only really need to update it a few times a day to keep in contact with people. Besides using it as a social networking tool, I really don’t think it serves any other purposes; at least I can’t see any. I guess I would consider Twitter as a “Community Blog” site.
